Revell 1/48 F-14D, VF-213 Black Lions

The VF-213 F-14D is also a Revell kit...and I added a True Details cockpit to it....but added a couple of mods to make it look like an F-14D cockpit. I also added the scratchbuilt IFR probe using plastic and brass wire.
Kit has been rescribed and was painted with Gunze acrylics, given a wash and some pastels for weathering.
Scratchbuilt bomb racks and LANTIRN pylon were added as was a LANTIRN pod from a Hasegawa Weapons set.
Models from Twobobs depict the VF-213 COs jet when it was assigned to CVW-11 aboard the USS Carl Vinson during Operation Enduring Freedom.
