Revell 1/48 F-14A, VF-41 Black Aces

This is Revell’s 1/48 scale F-14A. I built it to represent Fast Eagle 107 during that little run in with a couple of Libyians over the Gulf of Sidrah. It’s built out of the box.

I didn’t rescribe the kit and since I lost most of the detail fixing those historically awful seams I just used a pencil to draw in where panels should be.

I used Gunze acrylic paints for this kit and I really liked it.. I kept the weathering light since these paint jobs held up better then the current TPS scheme. The decals are from Detail and scale (Thanks k5ikl!!!!!)
