1/48 Hasegawa F-14D, VF-101 Red Rippers

I'm Trevor Teixeira, (trevortex88) and I'm from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Here's my 1/48 Hasegawa F-14D with VF-decals for Gunfighter 160. The VF-decals sheet only comes with decals for Gunfighter 155 and 162, so I stole the zeroes from the Hasegawa Kit CVW-14 sheet. They matched up allright, I guess.

So what's the story with the flag you might ask, and why Gunfighter 160. At the London airshow 2004, the F-14 demo was flown in Gunfighter 160, and they put on an awesome show! When they were done, they came taxiing back with a big Canadian flag hangin' out! There are pictures here

 I decided right then and there that I would build that jet. And so I did. I know the flag isn't perfect, and a bit off scale. It's just a patch that I had lying around. I'm going to make a better one out of either tissue paper or stickers later on, It's just that this might be my only chance to get some shots before July 1.

What's with the hat, you might also ask. Heehee, I won that at the fair at the Burlington Sound of Music Festival this weekend.
