R/M 1/48 F-14A, VF-142 Ghostriders

My entry is the Revell/Monogram 1:48th F-14A of VF-142. Construction was fairly straight forward, although a troublesome chinpod almost halted the build.
The kit was finished OOB with some extra detail added with help from Hasegawa nozzles, there was some minor surgery needed to make the diameters of both nozzles fit correctly.

The Decals were ok'ish, but the white on the Stars and Bars was transparent. I have omitted the slime lights due to the kit versions being "YELLOW" and I didn't have any spares, I'll correct this in due course. Extra "No Step" decals and various stripes and placards have been added to make it more interesting to look at. 

The paint is standard Light Gull Grey over White and minimal weathering has been applied, these aircraft never seemed to be too dirty.
