Fujimi 1/72 F-14A, VF-41 Black Aces

This is Fujimi's 72nd Scale F-14A Tomcat kit #35109. Mostly OOB, except for the following, Superscale Decals set #72-560, F-14's with noseart VF-41/VF-84. Using the Academy kit wings to display this with them in the swept position. Using also Academys AIM-9 launch rails to show the 4 Sidewinder/2 Phoenix loadout mix. Using mostly Gunze acrylics for the glossy LT Gull Grey scheme of 16440. Alclad was used for the bare metal portion of the fuselage and burner cans. Testor's Metalizer for the Sidewinder missile warheads. A great kit and very comparable to Hase's version. Probably not as complicated to build but the end result is very nice.
