Hasegawa 1/72 F-14A, VF-111 Sundowners

This is my third of three entries for this build, a 1/72nd Hasegawa (old-style molding) F-14A (kit #E3:1200). The model has kit decals for the squadron commander's aircraft of VF-111 Sundowners in a high-vis color scheme, complete with a 'kill' marking showing a US Air Force F-15 defeated during a recent Red Flag training exercise. The whole kit is OOB, with no after-market parts or decals. The loadout consists of Sparrows and Sidewinders on the glove pylons, four Sparrows on the centerline pallets, and fuel tanks on the intake nacelles. The kit was painted with Testors and Model Masters acrylics and enamels, and an overall coat of Testors semi-gloss clear, and Testors dullcote on the decals on the flat areas, such as the wing fold overlaps. This is my first Hasegawa kit outside of an accessory set, and was purchased specifically for this build.
